Refund Policy
Legendary Notaries is committed to providing professional, reliable, and compliant notary services. Because notary services involve time, travel, preparation, and legal compliance, our refund policy is outlined below to ensure transparency and fairness.
Fees paid for notary services generally compensate for the notary’s time, availability, travel, and administrative preparation. Once a notary appointment has been completed and the notarization has been properly performed in compliance with Florida law, fees are non-refundable.
If an appointment is canceled by the client before the scheduled start time, any refund eligibility will depend on the timing of the cancellation. Cancellations made with reasonable advance notice may be eligible for a partial or full refund of the notary service fee, excluding any non-refundable processing or booking fees. Same-day cancellations or no-show appointments are not eligible for refunds, as time and availability have already been reserved.
For mobile or on-call notary appointments, travel fees are non-refundable once the notary has begun travel to the appointment location. This includes situations where the appointment cannot be completed due to missing identification, incomplete documents, an absent signer, refusal to sign, or circumstances outside the notary’s control.
For remote online notarization services, fees are non-refundable once the session has begun or identity verification has been initiated, as required compliance steps and platform costs are incurred at that time.
If a notarization cannot be completed due to an error made solely by Legendary Notaries, reasonable corrective action will be taken. This may include re-notarization at no additional charge or, where appropriate, a refund of the notary service fee. Refund determinations are made on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Florida law.
Legendary Notaries does not provide refunds for dissatisfaction based on document content, legal outcomes, or a client’s decision not to proceed after the notary has arrived or the session has started. As notaries, we do not provide legal advice and are not responsible for the legal sufficiency of documents.
All refund requests must be submitted within a reasonable time after the appointment and will be reviewed promptly. Approved refunds, if any, will be issued using the original method of payment.
